Is it possible to disable digital business card creation for Guests in QRCodeChimp’s Entra ID integration?

Yes. While configuring how digital business cards should be created and organized, you can set a filter in the Choose Your Card Management Structure step of Entra ID integration to ensure only Members get cards, and Guests are excluded.

Follow these steps:

1. In the Choose Your Card Management Structure step, select your card organization structure method as By filter.
2. Enter a name for the group in which the cards will be created.
3. In the field section, set the filter as follows:
   • In the first dropdown (Select a field), choose User Type.
   • In the second dropdown, select is equal to.
   • In the third field, type Member.

4. Untick the checkbox “Cards that don’t match any filters will be grouped under everything else.” This ensures cards are not created for users outside the filter.

   

5. Click Save and Continue to proceed.

Once configured, digital business cards will be created only for Members, and not for Guest users.
