Why can't I connect QRCodeChimp to ChatGPT or Claude using MCP?

If you're having trouble connecting QRCodeChimp to ChatGPT or Claude, check the following:

1. Custom MCP server option is missing

Your AI assistant may not support custom MCP connections on your current plan, or the feature may be restricted by your workspace administrator.

Check your AI assistant's plan and workspace permissions.

2. Invalid MCP server URL

Make sure you're using the correct QRCodeChimp MCP server URL:

https://mcp.qrcodechimp.com/mcp  

Copy and paste the URL to avoid typing errors.

3. Authorization failed

If you're unable to authorize the connection:

• Make sure you're signing in with the correct QRCodeChimp account.
• Check that you have approved the requested permissions.
• Try connecting again.

4. Connection is successful, but QRCodeChimp isn't responding

Make sure QRCodeChimp is selected or enabled in your AI assistant before submitting a request.

If the issue continues, disconnect and reconnect the integration.
