How to Connect QRCodeChimp to AI Assistants Using MCP
QRCodeChimp's Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration lets you manage QR codes and access account information directly through compatible AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude.
Instead of switching to the QRCodeChimp dashboard for every task, you can ask your AI assistant to retrieve QR code lists, check scan analytics, create or update QR codes, and access form responses or contacts.
Connect your QRCodeChimp account using your existing login credentials. No API key is required.
What you'll need
- A QRCodeChimp account. MCP connections are available across all QRCodeChimp plans.
- An AI assistant that supports custom remote MCP server connections.
Note: Available QRCodeChimp features depend on your active plan. Your AI assistant may also have separate plan or workspace requirements for custom MCP connections.
Set Up the QRCodeChimp MCP Connection
To get started, add QRCodeChimp as a custom MCP server in your AI assistant. Use the following server URL during setup.

Manage QR Codes and Access Account Data Using AI
With the QRCodeChimp MCP integration, your AI assistant can perform the following operations:
- View QR codes: Retrieve lists of QR codes from your account.
-
Create and update QR codes: Create or update individual dynamic QR codes for Digital Business Card, vCard, URL, SMS, WhatsApp, and Email solutions.
Note: MCP currently supports creating and updating individual dynamic QR codes only. Bulk QR code creation and updating QR codes within existing bulk batches are not supported. Other QR code solutions and static QR codes must be created or updated through the QRCodeChimp website.
- View analytics: Check QR code scans and performance.
- View folders: Retrieve your QR code folder list.
- View form responses: Access responses collected through QRCodeChimp forms.
- View contacts: Retrieve contacts saved in your QRCodeChimp account.
Note: Creating and updating QR codes through AI assistants is currently supported only for the six solutions listed above, and only for dynamic QR codes. Other QR code solutions can be managed through the QRCodeChimp website.
Any QR code created through your AI assistant is saved in your QRCodeChimp account, just like one created through the dashboard. It appears in your QR code list, counts toward your plan limits, and can be managed through your QRCodeChimp dashboard.

- Account access: The assistant can access information permitted by your QRCodeChimp account permissions and active plan.
- Authentication: You authorize access using your QRCodeChimp account without providing your password directly to the AI assistant.
- Data handling: Information retrieved through the integration may be processed according to the AI assistant provider's privacy policy.
Review the QRCodeChimp Privacy Policy and your AI assistant provider's privacy policy before connecting.
