What is the Field Locking feature?

Field Locking lets admins control which fields users with Edit Access can change on team digital business cards.

Eligible fields can be set as:

• Read-only: Visible in edit mode but cannot be changed
• Hidden: Not visible to the user in edit mode

Fields remain editable by default when locking is not applied. Admins can configure permissions for an entire section or for individual fields.

Field Locking is available on the Pro plan and above for digital business cards created through bulk upload, Active Directory integration, or SSO integration. Fields mapped from Active Directory or SSO are locked automatically and remain read-only in QRCodeChimp.

The main account and authorized sub-accounts can continue managing locked or hidden non-mapped fields. Field Locking is not available for individually created digital business cards.
