What is the difference between Read-only and Hide in field locking?

Use Read-only when you want users with Edit Access to see a field in edit mode but prevent them from changing it.

Use Hide when you do not want the field to appear to those users in edit mode.

Hiding a field affects only the editing experience. The field continues to appear on the published digital business card landing page if it is configured to display there.

Fields remain editable by default unless they are locked. For Active Directory and SSO-based cards, mapped fields are locked automatically and remain read-only in QRCodeChimp.
