How do I create GS1 QR Codes in bulk?
Sign in to your QRCodeChimp account, go to the GS1 QR Code solution, and enable Bulk Upload and follow the steps below.
Step 1: Download the sample file and save your bulk
Click Download Sample File to download the sample Excel file. Before the file is downloaded, you will be asked to save your bulk batch. Enter a name for the bulk batch and, if needed, select a folder from the dropdown to save it there. Once done, the sample file will be downloaded to your system.

Step 2: Fill in the required QR Code details in the Excel sheet
Start by entering a QR name in the QR Name column. Your GS1 QR codes will be created in the name that you enter in this column. The QR name should be unique for each GS1 QR code.

Step 3: Enter GS1 input details
Enter a valid GTIN in the GTIN(01)* column. You can also fill in optional fields such as Batch/Lot Number, Serial Number, Consumer Product Variant, Packaging Date, Sell By Date, Expiration Date, Country Of Origin, Net Weight, and up to three Custom AI Code and Value pairs, depending on your requirement.

Step 4: Fill in the GS1 output details
In the Output Method field, enter one of these valid values: url, product-page, pdf, or pdf-gallery.
In the Destination field, enter the corresponding value based on the selected output method:
- For url, enter a valid URL starting with https://
- For product-page, enter the Product Page short URL from your account
- For pdf, enter a valid PDF URL
- For pdf-gallery, enter the PDF Gallery QR Code short URL from your account

Tip: The values in the Output Method field are case-insensitive, so you can enter them in uppercase, lowercase, or mixed case.
Step 5: Set location tracking preference if needed
Fill 'Yes' in the Track Precise Location column if you want to enable precise location tracking for the QR Code.

Step 6: Upload the completed Excel sheet
Return to the bulk upload page and upload the filled Excel file.

Step 7: Verify the field mapping
Check that the Excel sheet columns are mapped correctly to the corresponding QR Code fields.

Step 8: Validation completed
A pop-up will appear once the validation is complete, confirming that the records have been validated successfully. Click Upload to proceed. The upload process will then continue in the background.

Step 9: Check the bulk batch status
After you click Upload, you will be redirected to the Bulk QR Codes dashboard. Your bulk batch will continue processing in the background and may initially show the status as In Queue. You can click Refresh to check the latest status. Once the batch is processed, the view will update, and you will see the available actions for the generated QR Codes.

Step 9: Review and download the QR Codes
After the upload is processed, review the generated QR Codes and download them as needed.
