What is a Smart QR Code?

A Smart QR Code is a dynamic QR code that allows you to change where users are redirected, even after the QR code is created or printed.

Instead of pointing to fixed content, a Smart QR Code uses Smart QR Rules to redirect users based on conditions such as device type, day of the week, or time. This makes one QR code suitable for multiple use cases.

You can update the destination anytime without reprinting the QR code. You can also link the Smart QR Code to any of your saved QR codes, such as a Product QR Code, Digital Business Card, or other solutions.

For example, you can initially set a Smart QR Code to open a saved Product QR Code. Later, your requirement changes, and you need to open a precomposed email on the scan of the same QR code. You can edit your Smart QR Code and set the destination as an email, while keeping the QR code image unchanged.

This flexibility allows you to reuse the same QR code across campaigns and update its purpose whenever needed.
