Do I need to regenerate my QR codes after white labeling is enabled?

Yes, existing QR codes need to be regenerated to display your white-labeled domain in the QR code itself.

If you don't want to reprint existing QR codes, you can continue using them as-is. The QR code will show QRCodeChimp domain URLs (like 'linko.page' or 'qrcc.me') when scanned. However, after clicking the link, users will be redirected to pages displaying your white-labeled domain. The final destination will show your branding, not QRCodeChimp's.

For Existing Individual QR Codes:

  1. Go to your QR code in the dashboard and click "Edit."
  2. Save the QR code without making any changes.
  3. Download and distribute the newly generated QR code with your white-labeled domain.

For Existing Bulk QR Codes:

  1. Go to Bulk QR Codes on the left panel of your dashboard.
  2. Click the More Options (3 dots) for your bulk, and select Upload Edited Excel option, Upload Edited QR Codes pop-up appears.
  3. Click Download existing QR Excel to download the excel file.
  4. Update the downloaded Excel file if you want to update information on any of the QR codes.
  5. Click Upload Date File.
  6. Once the process is completed, all QR codes in the bulk will be white labeled.

For New QR Codes: All QR codes created after white labeling is enabled will automatically use your custom domain.

Why Regeneration is Recommended:

  • Existing QR codes still point to the original QRCodeChimp domain.
  • Regeneration embeds your custom domain directly into the QR code.
